Terms and Conditions

All HomeSpa® products are refundable when returned unused or within reasonable condition within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

* Gift cards are NONREFUNDABLE; but are transferrable. Please feel free to share them with friends and loved ones.

* All gift cards kept at The HomeSpa® are filed under the RECIPIENT'S last name for one (1) year only. Please call 718 596 8668 or e-mail us at TheHomeSpa@aol.com to confirm, if necessary.

* IMPORTANT: ALL HomeSpa® gift cards purchased ONLINE will be KEPT AT THE HOMESPA® for one (1) year at 300 Court Street in Brooklyn, NY. The gift card will be available for use approximately 12-24 hours from the date the order is completely and accurately processed through our system.

* In order for us to promptly process an online gift card purchase, please include the first and last names of BOTH the sender and the recipient, as this minimizes the chance for delays.

* The 5% gift card discount does not apply to already discounted services and/or products (such as packages, corporate discounts, group discounts, advertised specials, etc.) and is only applicable when the gift card is used for services or products -- not when it is purchased.

* When booking an appointment, let the receptionist know that you will be using a gift card for payment.

* In order to use it toward services (or products), bring your gift card with you on the day of your scheduled service(s). You must present your gift card in order to use it for any service on that day, or you must provide another form of payment for your service(s).

* If you would like to have a gift card that you’ve purchased online sent to you (or the recipient), you MUST send us a separate e-mail indicating as such, OR call The HomeSpa® at 718 596 8668 to make a verbal request.

* All HomeSpa® gift cards begin to depreciate by $2 a month after one (1) year of activation. Rather than becoming completely invalid after a year, your gift card actually starts to depreciate by $2 per month after twelve (12) consecutive months. This is an automatic feature from the card issuing company (Lynk Systems), and cannot be altered by The HomeSpa®. (See the back of your gift card for more information!)

* On the back of every gift card is an 800 number (800 803 1222) that you may call to find out the current balance on your card. Be sure to enter your CARD NUMBER (hint: it begins with 6034 1191 ...), not the activation number, when checking your card balance. You may also check the balance of your gift card online at www.giftlynk.com.



Every massage therapist, aesthetician, and practitioner employed at The HomeSpa® is licensed and insured. We do not offer any services whatsoever of a sexual or sensual nature.

NO double discounting permitted.

Hours are from 9a-9p, Tues-Sat, by appointment—only. All treatment times are booked to include filling out consent sheet, dressing/undressing, bathroom, etc. So, please be on time or early!

MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, Discover, and debit cards are accepted, as are American Express Travelers Cheques and Spa Finder Gift Certificates. Sorry, no personal checks.

Appointments are booked according to our therapists’ availability and specialty. Please inform us of any special requests you may have (i.e., male/ female therapist, pregnancy table, etc.).

Our shower is reserved only for clients receiving our body treatment. If necessary, please shower before arriving for your appointment.

Please be on time (or early) for appointments. If you are late, it cuts into your treatment time, which cannot always be made up.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated and are generally 15%-20% of the original cost of service(s); however, please feel free to tip according to your own preference.

Gratuities are not included in the service price, and may not be included in your credit card transactions at checkout time.

HomeSpa® gift cards are available in dollar amounts only and are transferrable but nonrefundable. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or for tips. All gift cards expire in one (1) year.

We require 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid penalty. Please make every effort to confirm your appointment at least the night before your services to avoid future booking problems. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

No children are allowed in the treatment area unless they are receiving services; nor may they be left unattended in the reception area.

Children are not allowed in your treatment room while you are receiving your service(s). Please do not bring children to The HomeSpa during your appointment(s).

Your written consent is required each and every time you receive a service at The HomeSpa®. Failure to comply may result in our inability to service you.

Chronic late-comers or “no-shows” will require a credit card in order to book an appointment. Please call at least the night before to confirm or cancel your appointment.
